Yeah, so I had to contact Acer personally. And to all tech support people out there: I know your job is hard and frustrating, and I respect you all majorly for actually doing it, but today I am no fan of tech support people.
So Acer spend a month fixing my computer, and then I get it back and it is still broken.
I contact Datakjeden where I bought it from, and get a darling named Jørn who helps me to the best of his abilities.
It's when I have to go to Acer themselves to get help that it stops.
First the guy I talk with tells me to redo a test I already have done, the very test that made Jørn tell me to call Acer to begin with.
When I fails at the same point, with the same error message (if someone could tell me what a LPCD.dat file is and what it does I would be eternally grateful), I call again. And get another guy who tells me to send the computer back to them.
I am was not nice to him. I am sorry tech support people, but I wasn't.
I told exactly how unimpressed I was with the fact that it took them a month to fix it in the first place, that I was planning on taking my computer to TG, and that I was perfectly capable of installing my own computer. I also told him that my exam is in two months, and that I would hold Acer personally responsible if I flunked.
He agreed to forward me to the recovery department which will send me a form which I will have to fill out and return to them in order for them to send me the recovery disks.
This will probably take a couple weeks, judging from their speed of doing this this far. So jah. NOT IMPRESSED.
I am going to hunt down some places for me to give Acer STINKING reviews now. They deserve it thoroughly.

Don't buy ANYTHING from Acer EVER!!!
So I got my computer back today. And it DOES NOT WORK!!!
First Acer spends a freakin' month fixing my freakin' computer, and then when I finally get it back all the CDs that they told me to send in were missing, and then the damned thing bluescreens in startup!
I send in a broken computer, and they fix then stupid thing, but apparently it seems that they put in the wrong freakin' harddrive for the wrong freakin' model so the damned thing DOESN'T WORK!!! It's a glorified paperweight!
And I was so exited that I would get to take my computer to TG, fat chance of that happening now!
I am so mad right now. Did you notice?
Datakjeden have been great, every step of the way. Acer however have been slow, and now apparently incompetent. I am NEVER buying from Acer EVER again. If I need 8 hours of battery life I will buy a freakin' MacBook!
I HATE Acer!!!

Simon says: "Toss the Turtle"
Now, I am violently opposed the harming of real life animals. I am very with Singer on that one. Not the infanticide thou, not with him on that one. I have been ranting loudly and obnoxiously about that for the past... week I think. A big NO on the infanticide.
I am not however in any way against harming cartoon animals (and don't come here with any sort of "oh, thaaaat's why you like Pokémon"-jokes. Pokémon teaches children to love and care for their animals. So there!XP). So I humbly bring you my latest internet obsession Toss the Turtle^^, Enjoy

Alice in Underland?
Okey, I have now done many things in addition to playing Pokémon for an entire day, so now I am going to write about Alice in Wonderland.
First thing, inspired by Alice in Wonderland would have been a much better thing to write at the end of the movie than "based on Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass".
The movie goes on when Alice have turned 18. She has forgotten all about Wonderland (which for reason is really called Underland. Go figure). The Red Queen has taken over the land, and have pushed out her younger sister the White Queen.
I read a quote from Burton prior to seeing the movie where he had said that one thing he really did not like with other Alice in Wonderland movies was that there was no red thread, no continuum to them, and I thought "have he even read the book?".
So I had very low expectations going into the movie, because all I ever read was this and scores of reviewers saying he did not understand the original material, which was sort of valid thou.
It was a good movie, it was entertaining, and I could remember most of it from the books or other things that Lewis Carroll wrote. Like the Jabberwocky, it is of course from the poem with the same name.
There were of course some things that puzzled me. Like how can the Queen of Hearts (as in Cards) be the older sister of the White Queen (like in chess pieces). And where are all the other Queens?
But I sit here and that was really the only thing that did not make sense. Which really means that the movie wasn't all that bad.
Oh, wait, there was one more. Alice keeps talking about the nightmare she had when she was little, and how that is the only dream that she ever
Maybe because I have known for months that it happens years after the original books, and maybe it's because I had really low expectations going in, but I really really liked it.
It was a very Burtonesque, the colours where weird and the actors looked sickly. It was Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp all the way. And don't get me wrong, they are great actors, and they work well together, but they are going be in Addams Family too, maybe it's time to look for some other leads?
Johnny could not decide if he was English, American or Scottish. That was really annoying. If you are going to do an accent you don't speak every day, then choose one and stick to it, don't jump around like that.
I am guessing it's supposed to underline the fact that he is hopping mad, but it only got across as annoying to me.
And he is mad in this movie, but a cute kind of mad. The right kind of mad. I liked that. I was scared he was going to be icky, like in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, but instead he was endearing.
Anyway, it was a very good movie, and I wholeheartedly recommend it=D

Can I has Pokémans?
So I was gonna write about Alice in Wonderland, which I saw yesterday. Yeah. That's not gonna happen right this moment, it will have to be later, because today I did something I have not done in months.
I threw saving out the window and spent my birthday money in advance. I bought Heartgold and Soulsilver.
Yes, I am perfectly aware of the fact that I could have saved a buck-load of money by ordering them from the states, but I just could not wait. I have been practising very hard not to be all instant gratification, but apparently this does not apply to Pokémon games which I have been anxious awaiting for, I guess, for over a year now.
I have been super focused on not reading or watching for it at all, in fear that this exact thing would happen. It happened anyway.
The thing is I was meeting S at Strømmen Storsenter on Wednesday for some photographing for TG, and I did the error of walking past one of the two game stores the mall has, and outside there was a cardboard poster thingy, which showed Ho-oh and Lugia, in all their glory. I melted instantly. I rushed in to the store, all big eyed and giggly to find the boxes on the shelves. They had "pre-order now" stickers on them, and price-tags and they came with limited edition figurines.
When I got home, I started gushing more or less instantly and constantly. For two days, until Boyfriend offered to borrow me the money. And I deliberated for hours last night.
I finally decided to buy one now, and order the other from the states for a much cheaper rate.
But when I got there this morning (they were released today) I just could not decide, and I wanted the limited edition figurines (yeah, Pokémon figurines are not evol trinkets, they are limited edition, very rare Pokémon figurines currently on display on a shelf), so I caved to my desires and bought them both.
It is finally official, I am a Crazy Collector Lady.
Also I will be mostly unavailable for the next... Month? Depends on how long it's gonna take me to get to the mayor roadblock which is Goldenrod City. I swear that Miltank is pure evil. Or rather it's rollout attack is. It's the stuff nightmares are made out of. Some I am actually gonna be mainly unavailable until 8PM todayXP It's only the third gym after all. I am a Pokémaniac. You kned that. Don't look so shocked.
The fact that I bought them, does mean however, that I am not allowed to buy any DS games, or Nintendo games AT ALL, for a loooooooong time.
And now: What do I think about the games.
It's this simple: It is the single best generation EVER, in the best graphics to date, with lots of neat things from the later generations, and all the cool things (this far any way) from the actual original games. It's the best of everything, AND it comes with a Pokéwalker, which you can transfer ANY Pokémon at all to.
You can walk around with any Pokémon of your choosing. You know, the coolest feature from Yellow, the extra-game for first generation.
It's lovely. It's amazing. It's gorgeous. It's Pokémon at it's absolute BEST, and I have only gotten to Voilet City. I LOVE it to bits.
Oh, and don't buy it for my birthday seeing as I already have both. Sorry for any plans this has ruined. I just could not help myselfXP
There will be more gushing later

Did YOU feel hit?
It appears that some people took my "I don't want presents but hugs" post a little personally. I have gotten some reactions and I felt it was appropriate to clear this up. It's not directed at anyone. I am not trying to tell anybody anything, it's just me telling how I feel about gifts in general.
And the trinkets post I wrote some while back, I got a sort-of-sorry for today too.
These posts aren't directed at anyone in particular, I am not using my blog to yell at people, I can do that perfectly well to people's faces if I think they need it.
I don't know why people think I am talking to them directly here, but if you were one of the ones that felt hit and hurt, please don't be. I am not yelling at you here. You don't deserve whatever fights we might have splattered all over the internet, and if I have anything to say to you I will do that in person. I will try to anyway, I kind of have a hard time with confrontations. And I trust you will all do the same.
It's mean to talk behind people's backs and it almost always gets back to them, so I try not to do that, and rather talk directly to them.
So yah, I wasn't yelling at anyone in particular.
But please keep this in mind, if you felt hit by any of this (as apparently many of you were, even thou I did not mean it that way) maybe you should take a look on what you actually use gifts for. Whether you are one of those that give because you found something nice that you feel your friend deserves, or if you give gifts as some kind of proof of love, or means to obtain love from others. If you are one of the last two maybe you need to reconsider.
I know people of in three groups.
Also if you belong in the last two, please realize that I don't. I will never judge you by what you give me, and I never take into consideration where a gift I buy goes on the love-o-meter.
I love you all because you are my friends and family, not because I want you to buy me things.
I will probably be pleased if you buy me something nice, but I will never require it of you, and I will never (as I said) judge you by them (or the absence of them).
So yah, to anyone who was hurt or offended by any of these posts, I am sorry. That was not the way I meant them. They are both just me blowing of steam.
Yes, and I did re-read them both, and I realized the trinkets post was a little (or a lot) on the harsh side, so I am guessing there were quite a few of my friends who might have taken it badly, seeing as I am still getting reactions on it.
Here's the deal. Quite a few of you have over the years spent maybe 100NOK or more on trinkets to me in one go. There are actually quite a lot of people who gives me scores of little gifts for my birthday or Christmas. They are more often than not all nice gifts, as I said I love them all, because they are cool. But when two or three or more come with, lets say 4, of these little gift each time, that ends up being a lot of figurines and string lights and little plushies and things like that, and they build up, and conspire among themselves (things like throwing me off the thrown and achieving world dominion and the like XP). There has over the years become boxes full of them. And I honestly don't know where to put them all, and I don't want to throw them away, because they are cool and I love them, but if I keep them all on display I will have to pack away my books, and I don't want to do that, because I like my books, so I usually end up packing away the trinkets, which I don't want to do either, but when you are me, it's the lesser of two evils.
And then I think, what if all the money that have out into the figurines and the string lights and cell phone danglies (I simply don't have enough things to put my cell phone danglies on anymore, after I stopped wearing my cell phone around my neck), what if all those money were put towards a book, or a game, or make up or nail polish.
There's a lot of other cool things that I can get that I can use and play with and have fun with as well, but that will actually get used up, so that when the next gift-giving time comes around I can get new ones that can replace the old ones.
I still stand by my wish that my gift this year will that people show up and pay for themselves, because that is what I want. Most years there are at least one person that cancels at the last minute, or forgets, or simply doesn't show at all without any explanation at all, and that hurts me more than if you show up without a gift, which for me isn't the point of these things anyway.
So this year: Please just come. Celebrate me getting a year older, and that is all I want. If you can't show up, tell me, and tell me a good time in advance. That is what I want for my birthday.
It really hurts me actually when people just doesn't show, and a lot of people do that to me. There's at least one person every year. Please don't be that person.
(Yeah, and if you are one of the many people that have done this, please be informed that even thou I tried to put a happy face on it, I was REALLY hurt. I get hurt by every single person who do this, every single time, and this is the reason that if you asked to be reminded I WILL remind you, every day for a week in advance. People FORGET my birthday parties, EVERY YEAR. People cancel after the party have started. I don't care about your presents, as long as you actually show up. I feel that I have said that maybe too many times in this post. Please please don't just leave me hanging. It really REALLY hurts.)
(PS: If I EVER have done this to you I am truly sorry. I try my best to give a message at least an hour in advance at the very minimum, but sometimes things happen that I have very little control over. So, sorry. And if you did have a good reason that was not obviously made up or a bad excuse (no, I will not be able to repeat any one the many obviously bad excuses or who did not show up when, because I try to stay happy and these things do not make me happy at all) rest assured, I did understand, and I was less hurt. Probably still hurt, but less so when I know you had a good reason, and that you were not standing me up because I don't mean anything to you, and I also know that you didn't forget.
Anywho, I am really sorry if I have ever done this to you. Please accept my apology *insert fancy bowing here*)

Spring? I certainly hope so^^,
Spring is tentatively raising it's head here in Oslo.
The sidewalks are slowly becomming dry, and I don't have to wear a fleece west under my jacket anymore. I still wear my hooded scarf thou, becuase it's kind of windy, but I don't wear my cap under it anymore.
And with spring comes the sort of things that come in the spring. Like my birthday, and my parents birthdays, and easter.
Actually my father's birthday is tomorrow.^^, I have gotten him a nice little present, nothing big, but I hope he'll like it.
And with easter comes a the biggest happening for computer nerds and gamers here in Norway, The Gathering. Which I am going to this year. For the first time ever! I am so exited^^,
I am even entering contests and everything. Or rather, I am joining in on boyfriend's projects^^,
If I can get it done I am going to 3D model something for an intro, which will be fun. And terrifying, seeing as I have never actually finished a 3D model before. We are also doing some lightpainting and some other stuff^^,
It will be so fun^^,

I liek mudkips (or rather webcomics, whatever)
Of course I do like mudkips, but this post is supposed to be about the webcomics.
I can of couse drop a little mention that I at the moment have 199 Pokémons in my Crystal game. None of the mudkips, seeing as mudkips are third generation starters, but still. Only evolving and trading left. I have caught every single catchable Pokémon in the game. Do I rock or what^^,
My thanks go out to the Gachas, who with the kind gift of my Crystal game made this possible. Also I would like to thank L who is borrowing me her GameBoy Color, so that I kind do the single most geekiest thing a Pokémon geek can do, namely trading Pokémon with myself. Also I would like to thank all the people who gave me money for my 10th (I think) birthday, so that I could buy a GameBoy Color in the first place, and also a boy in my class in elementary school that borrowed me his Pokémon game, which started my Pokémon craze in the first place,
Thank you all. I am eternally grateful for all of you taking part in getting me to the place I am today. Which is having 199 Pokémon in my Pokédex.
Actually I have the complete 1st, 2nd and 4th generation. (I was too cool when the 3rd and the remake of the 1st came out.)
I actually have 19 Pokémon games. This of course include spin-offs. I have ALL the Pokémon games that came out for the GameBoy Color. Except Green, but that one was only release in Japan, and is basically Blue, but just in Japan.
I have not counted up how many games I am missing.
Anywho, this post was supposed to be about webcomics.
Message to L: This post is not the post you are looking for. (Until after your exam you are not allowed to read any further. Go study!)
These days I am reading the entire archives of Narbonic.
Which is fun. Not as fun as Girl Genuis. If you liked and/or got hooked to Weregeek, which I wrote about a long time ago, then you need to read Girl Genius. Not all that much alike, story wise, but very alike in feel, if you get what I mean. I would go so far as classify Girl Genius as a neon sugar prose-type webcomic.
Then we have Girls with slingshot which is a same type comics as Questionable Content and S*mething Positive, in the meaning that they are all about twenty-something (thirty-something in the case of S*mething positive, because the characters age in real-time and it has been going since late 2001. The archive might seem daunting, but it is SO worth it. I would throw my entire future plans out the window in a second if I got a job offer to work at Nerdrotica. No I am not kidding or hyperboling, I would. In a second seriously=D) people basically living life. I LOVE Hannelore. I want my very own Hannelore. She is so cute^^,
If you like Home on the Strange you need to read Ferret's new series My name is Might Have Been, which is about a post apocalyptic world where musicians a gods. It's really out there, and really god. King of Pops is the guy you go to to have him dig of the corpses of past musicians and have him peel their clothes of their decaying bodies so that you can wear them when you are on stage^^, Okey that sounded really graphic and gross, but it's not. You don't get to see, it's just so you get the feel. And the art is gorgeous.
Then there is Punch an' Pie, which is about the cutest (and craziest) character from Queen of Wands, namely Angela. She is adorable, bi, poly, short and CRAZY^^, It's written by Aerie who also wrote Queen of Wands, and the art is by Chris Daily, the mastermind behind Strip Tease. Which is not dirty. It's not a porn comic, I promise. My mom reads this blog, so I don't post porn links in here. I promise! Cross my heart and hope to live. It's about people making a comic^^,
Khaos Komix doesn't ever get graphic either, but narrowminded/homophobic/transphobic or basically any people who doesn't realize that any love, any love at all, is pure and beautiful, or people who don't realize that some people are simply born in the wrong body, they can all steer clear of this comic.
Are you how ever openminded, and realize that love is love no matter who it is directed at, and that is a pure and beautiful thing regardless, I recommend this Khaos Komix, because it's wonderful. Also I recommend the forums if you have gender/sexuality issues, and simply need to talk in place where noone judges, and everyone is included. If I get wind that anyone from here trolls that forum and make the people there hurt, so help me god I will hunt you down and castrate you with something very dull and very painful, no matter which sex you are you will not be able to spawn in any way when I am done with you. So DON'T TROLL!!!!'
And this last one is of course Devil's Panties which should be a staple in any bookmarks list, and which everyone should read. It's that great!

Can I have my computer back soon please?
It's been a month since I sent my computer in for repair. It's still marked as "under treatment". It's marked as being sent in 18th of February. That's over a month actually.
I miss it. The old computer is slow, and glitchy and I'm a little annoyed with Acer at the moment actually...=/

Feeling down? Then have I got videos for you!
This first one is totally "WTF?!"
At first you go "yay, boybands. Let's laugh at their synchronized dancing, and coordinated clothing." And then you're all "WTF?! What's up with that guy?" And then you're all "Holy f***!!! He's doing what now with his mouth and Oh Em Gee!!!!" And then you're all "I didn't think this could get weirder, but boy, was I wrong"
Seriously fun^^,

And this next one is NSFW. It has boobies. And kitties. And boobies. It is adorable^^,
Yay boobies^^,
EDIT:
For those who want the kittens, but not the boobies, I give you "Kittens inspired by kittens."

Almost right. Right enough. I love you too^^,
Belated Christmas and Valentine post.
Almost right. Right enough. I love you^^,
Things are hard sometimes, and over the last months I have been coming back to this comic over and over.
It makes me teary-eyed almost every time.
Love is important. And it's that the love is there that matters. Things are in the end just things, they are ephemeral, and unimportant. It's the love behind, the care that went into the gift, that is what matters.
Some people feel that how much money and/or time you put into a gift is an indicator of how much you love them. And that is so sad.
I feel that the best indicator for how much my friends love me is if they are ready to hear me out when I am sad, or give me a hug. It's more important to me that they actually show up my birthday party than if they bring a gift or not.
Over the last year I have come to the conclusion that not only do I have enough stuff, I have a little too much.
So for my birthday I want a hug. Or a smile. I don't want tons of things. I want to know that we will be friends and love each other for another year.
If I want things, I can save up money and buy them myself.
I'd rather you showed me you love me by simply loving me^^,
Yeah, I know that I am almost a month early, my birthday not happening before 8th of April.
And don't get me wrong, I love getting gifts. I become a little child, bouncing all over the place.
But the latter years I have come to feel suffocated by the demanding nature of Christmas and birthdays. The last three Christmases I have been on the verge of blowing Christmas off altogether, and just going away by myself and avoid the whole deal.
I start getting angst at the beginning of October, just because of the pressure of it all. And this last Christmas I crashed for real. It became to much.
So this is sort of a tentative beginning for me, taking the pressure of the holidays where gifts are involved.
I will never judge anyone's love for me by the things they wrap in shiny paper for me to open.
I would rather have a hug than a gift any day. And thou I really feel this way it's taking some discipline on my part to actually adapt my behaviour to this philosophy. Behaviour is after all, a very hard thing to change.
So, to everyone:
My gift this year is that you pay for your own cinema-ticket and your own dinner. That is all I want. I want you all to show up for my birthday party.=D

Support Constance!
Please join this facebook group called "Let Constance take her girl to the prom". Thank you
Constance is a gay girl at a high school in Mississippi in the US. She asked very nicely to be able to take her girl friend to the prom and to wear a tux.
So the school cancels the ENTIRE prom.
Please please join the group. Gay people should have equal rights as straight people. They don't thou TT.TT
I would like to think things are better here in Norway, but seeing as I currently have a BOYfriend (and intend to keep it that way for a while longer), I am not experiencing the hate that I know exist in Norway as well.
There have been major support, and the facebook group currently has 136,549 fans. Please show your support for Constance McMillen. Please join the group.

Let the related links take you strange and wonderful places
I started at 2NE1 and BIGBANG singing Lollipop, a good three hours ago.
Right now, the related links have taken me here:
I have no idea how I ended up here, but I LOVE Bollywood. Have I ever mentioned that?
EVERY single movie out of that wonderful place has music and dancing! Every single one!
What's not to love?
I saw a scene production Henrik Ibsens Lady from the Sea a long while ago, in Bollywood style. Which was what opened my eyes for Bollywood. But the thing is, while getting subbed Bollywood movies probably isn't as hard as I think, I haven't gotten around to it yet.
The only Bollywood-esque movie I have ever the whole of was some Pakistani deal, where they to actually fit the whole thing on the VHS had taken all the dancing and singing OUT TT.TT
But, happily, there is an annual Bollywood festival here in Oslo. I think I am actually gonna prepare and go this year. (Prepare, because I usually find out when it's being held, the week after it's done. Yah....)
Fun fact of highly dubious truthabilty (when you can't think of a word, you make one up^^,):
I was told once that a lot of these songs go in the fashion of "If you so much as look at my man ever again I am gonna gut you with a suitably terrifying looking weapon"XP
Have NO idea whatsoever if this is correct, but fun ne?
Study tiem now?
Yes, I think I betterXP

Did I mention I LOVE South Korean music these days?
I think I have developed a love affair with South Korean music O.o
My newest discovery is G-DRAGON<3<3
He's like a cross between Lady Gaga and Nick for Backstreet boys.
Sadly, we western countries outgrew our bleached-to-death, deadly synchronized, matched to a tee, constructed with a checklist, singing groups just about the same time we changed our first two year digits from 19 to 20.
And to be honest. Good riddance. Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys, while they were certainly fun, could not have hold their own against the Asian Super Groups.
Musical Wonder Companies like Hello Project, YG Entertainment, and SM Entertainment, just spew out fun music.
They hand-pick and train all their artists at a yearly basis, and then put them in the Super Groups, like Morning Musume, or Girls Generation. Or make them successful solo artist, members of smaller groups, actors, tv-hosts. Basically anything they want in entertainment.
It's certainly true that they live by super strict rules, and are likely to be booted out for even the smallest slip up, but the fact of the matter is, these companies make STARS.
They make, and have been making for years, the thing the western countries have outgrown.
And it's fun.
If you go on youtube and look up Hello Projects yearly colab concert, where all their groups perform their greatest hits in one big concert, you'll see what I mean.
The point of this point was really that up until now, I have been foolishly think that this was mostly a Japanese phenomenon. And I was wrong, it's happening all over Japan. And thou G-DRAGON, what with being a solo artist and all, is a bad example, it's still a fun video, with a fun song.
So. Yah. Video tiem now^^,

What about today? Will there be pink sushi hearts today?
Yeah, I had a fit of Tinkerbell-has-to-sleep at the end of yesterday's postXP
And I do know I talked about pictures, but boyfriend is socializing and I have respect for other people's property, so they will have to come later.
So yeah. About the heart shaped maki cast.
It's like an onigiri cast, but it makes super long makis instead.
You know how you usually roll maki right? It's like that just that you press it into to shape first. (And Tinkerbell still can't explain thisXP)
Aaaaanywho. I'm bad at it. First you cast a little heart, and I got that part down really well, and then you cast the bottom part of the big heart. No, wait, first you dress the little heart in nori, and then you cast the bottom part of the big heart, then you very carefully place the little heart inside and then you fill the rest of the cast up with lots of rice and press as hard as you can. And then you take it out and roll the whole deal up in nori.
There are two problems with the progress. I have a tendency to ruin the little heart when I press the big one. It becomes all mashed out of shape, which is dead annoying. And then when I get to the dressing the whole deal in nori, the whole deal goes round.
But there's these red parts of the instructions, so I'm guessing I'm missing something important.
So I am currently translating those parts.
When what I should be doing is writing my compulsory linguistics lecture. (yeah, I have to stand up and speak in front of the class for 7 minutes. TT.TT)
Maybe I should that instead.
Yeah, one more thing before I end this post.
That bordering on inappropriate preteen remake of Toxic that I had to show you. That's a professional productions apparently. It was made for a Portuguese children's show. That's kind of twisted...O.o
Off to analysing graphs now TT.TT
Yeah, vocab section!
For the first time in over a year.
Maki - Rolled sushi
Nori - Dried sheets of edible seaweed used for eg. rolling maki or dressing onigiri

Pink heart sushi rolls? Not so much...
So me and the Gachas went on a shopping spree today. And I bought... waaaaait for it... lunch boxes!!! O.o
So, yah. I spend way to much money on food. Mostly at uni. But also when on walks around town. That and coffee. Waaaaay to much money.
And then suddenly I realized I had some money left over from last month. How on earth that happened, I have no idea. No idea what so ever.
But the result of that was I actually had some money to blow, and I've been wanting to buy the new Kitty Norville book, but I figured I'd do that with all the money I'm going to save eating home-made lunches^^,
So what did Tinkerbell buy? She bought an adorable little Hello Kitty lunch-box with an inside compartment container thingy that can hold, lets say rice, while I have maybe vegetables in the next compartment. Oooooor, I think I'd rather do it the other way around, so that the sauce from the vegetables don't get in under the compartment and end up making a big mess. Or, if I want simple (who wants that thou...XP) it's just the right size from a slice of bread.
(Prepare for Tinkerbell sidetrackingXP) You know, Norway has this deal with packed lunches. We love our packed lunches. We used to be a not very rich country, I don't know if we were poor, I do think we were ever 3rd world poor, but before we struck oil in the north sea things were tight all around. So we made packed lunches to save money. If you have heard of the Norwegian cheeseslicer or Ostehoevel (ostehøvel for those with a Norwegian or Danish character set on your comps) it was originally designed to make the cheese last longer, but making even, thin slices. And just before you ask, we don't do thick slices of cheese in Norway, we layer thin onesXP
Aaaaanywho, these packed lunches that we all love so much, they are booring. They usually consist of slices of bread with topping. You know like, slices ham, white or brown cheese (which are basically the usual light yellow cheese I think you can find anywhere in the world, I think. Don't quote me on that. It's made from cow's milk. And then there is the brown cheese made from goat's milk, and the Jamie Oliver thinks is an abomination, but that real cooks, like Nigella, run around all London's tiny little cheese-shops to get a fix of. (No offence to Jamie Oliver fans, I love him. He's cute and he teaches kids in USA to eat properly^^,) This brown cheese comes in varying degrees of brown, and at one point they sold a very special one with chocolate. Not for long thou. I think it flopped pretty hardXP), sliced ham (we have a million different types of sliced hams. Some are even made of birdXP), liver paté (which is immensely more jummy than it sounds), with or without sliced pickles or pickled red beet, a very special, very cheap kind of caviar that I have understood is only available in Scandinavia, or if you are really lucky jam or chocolate spread. Or of course if your Mum is mad at you Banos. Which is a special spread made of mashed banana. ICK!
The point to this long winding list is that it's bread. With topping, usually the same small selection of topping, every single day, every single week, all year.
Boring.
But very cheap.
Some days I eat two or three meals at school, depending of how early my first lecture starts and how late my last lecture ends. On Tuesdays I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at uni.
And even thou the student cafés are really cheap for students, they still want to make a profit. I try to have really cheap food for at least one of these meals, but I can't eat yoghurt any more, so the cheapest thing I can eat is basically pastry, and I don't want to eat that much sugar while at school, so I spend a lot of money on food.
So if I can put one or two slices of bread with cheese or whatever in the Hello Kitty box for breakfast, then heck, I'll live through boring. It's cheap.
I do already have a lunch box, but it's a Tupperware... oh, how embarrassing, the former Tupperware Consultant forgetting the name of a product... The point is it's basically a square at any angle. Which is a bad phrasing, but what I'm trying to say, it's as tall as it is wide, and this makes it a very awkward to cary in my backpack. I would have to carry it in a special bag or in my hand, and most days I end up not bothering.
So now I have a small handy lunchbox for breakfast or short days.
I also bought a onigiri lunch-box. It has a triangle shaped compartment on top for where you can place three onigiri in a row in a little tray. And under you have a compartment for eg. the remains of last night's dinner. Which, face it, is what I usually bring for lunch.
This is mostly due to the fact that I try not to eat too much wheat, and therefore were very often don't have any bread. We have frozen rolls, which has to be baked in an oven for 10 minutes and then cooled a while, and cut and then you have to put toppings on them, and yah, me no worky in the morning.
What I plan to do is make onigiri the evening before and then just lop some of last night's dinner in the box and take that.
I also bought chopsticks. They come in a little slide-to-open box, and can therefore be put in the backpack without getting gross.
I also bought heart shaped maki shaper. It's cast, sort of, for maki where you put rice in and press, like an onigiri cast, and then you push the rice out and roll it up in nori, and my coherency is seriously eluding me at the moment.
I'm wiped. I've been up since 6 am and it's currently 13 past midnight.
So I think I am gonna explain it properly sometime tomorrow, and hopefully I'll have charmed boyfriend into borrowing me his camera, so that I can show you pictures of my loot^^,
I can however tell you right not that the heartshaped maki will take practice. Lots and lots of practice, but that the pink rice was super mega happy cute, and that I am going to practice and become a master of the heartshaped maki. Now I am gonna check FaceBook and the go to bedXP

You thought the JAPANESE were crazy?!
Can you say fun?
This is a colab between the two South Korean groups 2NE1 and BigBang.^^,
It does not only sound like it tripped over the 90's on it's way from the 80's but it looks like it as well^^, <3<3<3
And you though the Japanese were crazy?^^,<3<3<3

Asia takes the boyband to a new level^^,
How many are they? 15?
I am not really a boyband fand, but this is freakin' aweome=D
I don't real Korean (they are Korean right), but from the related videos, some of which has Latin lettering in the title they are called Super Junior M, but don't take my word for it.
I kinda have this thing for Asian super groups, you know the super constructed pop bands with 10-20 members. They are so much fun^^,
But so far I have only seen the female versions, but I guess I should not be surprised that they have male groups as well^^,
This might or might not be the same group (I had it running in the background so I haven't studied it), and can you say FUN?
(Also the guys are HOT XP)
This was the video that got me started off today. I found it as a related video to a Milky Way video I think. Go figure. Or maybe Eggs. Not sure^^,
Tinkerbell has a cold. So I am staying home, watching youtube videos, and playing with my vintage Pokémon games^^,
This next video is not for religious people. There I have warned you, and I don't want to hear any complaining, and I'm not gonna discuss religion with you. I have viewpoints, as have most other people, but I have a cold, so I am not up for any theology discussing. I just think it's a funny song^^,
Also I discoverred Boxxy yesterdayO.o (Welcome after, I knowXP)
Oh em gee! Can you say girl-crush?! She is freakin' ADORABLE!!!!^^,
She is so kyoooooot!!!!^^,

Mommy, I am a REAL nerd now=D=D
So I got my nerd-badge this SundayXD
I played D&D^^,
My character is this big burly dwarf named Frain. Since only the GM had ever played before, we played with pre-made characters. So I am a dwarf named Frain^^, And I weigh 200lbs XP
Only thing we discovered thou, it's a dumb idea to set fire to the bad guys in the first roomXP
Seeing as our GM either has a really good memory, or he is really good at writing things down and checking his notes. We were really lucky to get good perception rolls on our fleeing of the cage, 'cos we almost missed the door through the smokeXP
And I must say, some goblins are just to stupid to realize they're supposed to get hit. We had a couple that just avoided everything we threw at them, it was almost a bit freakyXP
And I HATE hate hate Fire Beetles with a passion. Vile creatures!
It's a bit hard writing about D&D yet, because I have only played once, and haven't read the rules yet, and don't really know all that much about the inner workings of the game. YetXD
But I was looking at books at my local fantasy book-store today, and I am seriously debating if 350NOK is worth it for some easy rule booksXP But I have to talk to the GM first to see which version we are playing, so that I don't get super good at the wrong rules.
I am however buying dices. These are at the top of my wish list at the moment, but I might go for some that are easier to play with. Or maybe more than one set.
I might be playing in more than one group thou, as it turns out.
Some of my other friends also really wanted to play, so I might be playing two groups^^, But there is enough Tinkerbell to go around^^,
Might not be enough Tinkerbell for school as well thou, but oh, well. I'll get around to that too I guess^^, The other group has to find a place to play first. And possibly a GM XP
In other news, my laptop. My shiny new laptop, is dead. Write sector error. Which means the harddisk is broken. Probably it was slightly defective from the get-go, and then it just died.
I am getting a new harddisk thou, so I will probably have it back in a couple of weeks, but it's just super annoying. And if I want the old harddisk back to recover my files, I'll have to pay for that.
It's really annoying that I have to pay, when it is probably their fault it's broken in the first place.
I have been really super careful with it.
*grumble*
Oh well.
I'll guess I'll go drool at rulebooks some more to lighten my moodXP

This is obviously an expensive production. WTF?!

I think I'm turning Japanese
So I discovered this video. I'm betting everyone is all "welcome after" right now. But here you have Kirsten Dunst as Akihabara Majokko Princess^^,
Warning. Depending on your boss, it might not be NSFW, due to some short clips of lightly clad, big chested anime girls. But it's not what the song is about, and it can be easily ignored^^,
And just because no one else seems to have posted them, here are the complete lyrics. (The way my ears present them to me anywayXP)
Akihabara Majokko Princess - Turning Japanese lyrics
I've got your picture
of me and you
you wrote "I love you"
I wrote "me too"
I sit there staring and there's nothing else to do
Oh, it's in colour
your hair is brown
your eyes are hazel
and soft as clouds
I often kiss when there's no one else around
I've got your picture
I've got your picture
I'd like a million of you all to myself
I want a doctor
to take your picture
so I can look at you
from inside as well
You've go me turning up
and turning down
and turning in
and turning on
Turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so
x4
I've got your picture
I've got your picture
I'd like a million of you all to myself
I want a doctor
to take your picture
so I can look at you
from inside as well
You've go me turning up
and turning down
and turning in
and turning on
Turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so
x4
No sex
no drugs
no wine
no women
no fun
no sin
no you
no wonder it's dark
everyone around is a total stranger
everyone avoids me like psyton ranger
everyone
That's why I'm turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so
Turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so
x3
Guitar riff^^,
Turning Japanese
I think I'm turning Japanese
I really think so
x4
So yah. This is what I hear anyway. The "psyton ranger" part seems a little off, but it's what I hearXP
